Voting in NepalToday is the voting day in Nepal. This is the day that determines the future of Nepal. The three party that are likely to win the majority are Maoist, the Congress and the CPN-UML communist party. Within Kathmandu it is likely that CPN-UML communist party will get the majority and it's outside Kathmandu where the actual war on vote is going on. It has been heard that Maoist are threating the people in the remote village to give them vote. Let's see what happens. I am curious about who will get the majority. It has taken a lot of time, effort and work to conduct this voting. This is an important day in the history of Nepal. This will determine where Nepal will be for the next 20 years or so. I hope that whoever wins will develop Nepal in every aspect.

Petroleum crisis in Nepal

Petroleum crisis in NepalPetroleum has been essential for us dwelling in urban areas, be it for home use or for transportation or any other use. The price of petroleum is on the rise in international market as its demand is on the rise. Certainly it’s a natural resource and some day it is going to extinguish. At that time people are going to hit hard as scientist has done very little to find alternate medium or source to petroleum products. Recently, Kathmandu was hit by petroleum crisis and people residing in Kathmandu certainly felt the importance and need of petroleum products. The most crowded areas of Kathmandu were vehicle free and those public transports that were running on the street were carrying too much people. But certainly one positive of the petroleum crisis was that the pollution certainly decreased as there were very few vehicles moving around both air and noise pollution were low.

Election for Constituency Assembly

Nepal has long been in conflict and turmoil which resulted in death of many innocent people. Finally there is some glimmer of hope that election for constituency assembly is taking place. All the parties that were involved in conflict are also taking participation. The major parties are the Congress, the CPN UML, and the Maoist. Besides these three major parties there are numerous other parties involved. This election will also be historic as it is going to determine which form of governance is going to rule the Himalayan country. This election is taking place after 8 years and these 8 years has been really hard times; times of crisis and turmoil. Now the catastrophic situation are long gone and now all that we can pray and hope is let there be ever lasting peace in our country. Mentor of Peace Buddha laid the foundation for peace and our country the birth place of Buddha got tangled in war. But, it’s all over now and this election bring the right party to power and now all the infrastructure will be laid towards the warm future and development of Nepal.
